Creative? 

We are Marilyn and Ron Gilby.  In 2019, Ron introduced Marilyn to the world of laser cutting with a hobby-grade laser cutter. What started as a fun way to create gifts and decor for loved ones quickly turned into a passion. Now, as we prepare for retirement after each of us serving 30+ years in the military (RCN), we've taken a leap of faith and invested in an Aeon Super Nova 14 laser cutter (Click on image below to see the specs of our machine from Aeon Canada). Our industrial-grade laser now allows us to craft larger and yet also more intricate items.  We can engrave on almost anything.  Let us create the perfect item ​ with you to make something new and exciting.

Why the name? 

Moose and Mutt Creative is a name that reflects our passion for creativity and connection. Inspired by a beloved song about Morris the Moose, we add our own twist to celebrate our diverse cultural backgrounds (Scottish, Indigenous, French, and Irish). As proud Canadian Mutts, we embrace the blend of traditions and ideas that fuel our work.

 

While we currently specialize in laser creations, our ambition knows no bounds, and our creativity allows us to explore and craft a wide variety of unique projects. We will be adding a UV printer shortly and hopefully a fiber laser to the mix soon.
